LandVest Christie’s sought to establish a retail presence – their first in downtown Boston – with greater visibility in the Back Bay neighborhood.
The goal of the fit up was to provide a welcoming space to host client events, showcase photography of regional and local properties, and provide a desirable work space for personnel to touch down. The brownstone’s architectural features provided a backdrop for a light and bright retail office where natural daylight abounds. JSD provided space planning options that maximized flexibility for small group meetings, lounge space, private conferencing, private offices with views to public spaces, and kitchenette. The client’s schedule and budget were aggressive, and JSD assisted in selecting furniture pieces and decorative lighting from quick ship sources, combined with repurposing several of the client’s existing pieces. The tambor millwork reception desk is a custom design.
