Favorite trip:
My wife and I spent most of February 2022 in Japan, snowboarding all day every day and eating all the sushi we could find in our tiny mountain town surroundings. This is a trip I dream of repeating.

Getting lost down any rabbit hole that keeps my attention – lately, this has been wrenching on an old jeep saved from salvage. Also, there are never ending house projects in the wings, filling evenings and weekends for three seasons of the year. Winters are for the mountains though and long snowy drives north.

Favorite animal and why:
Our cat Pow tops the list. Sometimes I think she’s a dog manifested in the form of a cat – other times, a cat that’s manifested in the form of a pourable liquid that purrs.
