Located in the Washington Park neighborhood of Roxbury, MA, 570 Warren Street adapts an Historic wood-framed main building and adjacent carriage house into 26 units of SRO housing for men transitioning out of homelessness.
The renovation scope of work includes exterior envelope, decks, and entrances, and introduces accessibility and landscape improvements to the site. Interior scope of work includes reconfiguring the interior layout to provide for improved accessibility, greater efficiency of layout, and an increased number of units while preserving the historic integrity of the main parlor, and many architectural details. Both main building and carriage house will benefit from improved insulation, ventilation and energy efficient heating systems.
