Cranberry Manor and Carpenter’s Glen are two sites owned by Neighborworks Housing Solutions (NWHS) that comprise 56 units of affordable rental housing renovated by Joy Squared Design, with kitchen and bath renovations, and envelope work that both improved energy performance and brought new life and color the developments.
Prior to the architectural design, the project included a phase studying potential energy efficiency and sustainability measures for the short- and long-term. This resulted in a capital improvements plan for the next 20 years, including many improvements implemented in the project. The design also included landscape design and new outdoor recreation space for resident children.
