What is your favorite example of architecture and why?
I love the simple forms of modern Japanese architecture such as Tadao Ando’s work. I also love the mid-century modern houses on the Cape!

I recently finished Doris Kearns Goodwin’s book: An Unfinished Love Story, about her husband Dick Goodwin’s life and career advising and writing speeches for JFK, and Lyndon Johnson.
Favorite place to travel:
I’m partial to Italy. It’s hard to beat the food, the landscape, the art and architecture and the wonderful people.
Favorite project I’ve worked on:
I’m inspired by the staff and leaders at Pine Street Inn and so grateful for our 30+ years of work together.
When I’m not designing architecture, you can find me…
playing with my grandkids, cooking or getting outside.
