My favorite book:
Anything written by Emily Henry. Her books are not only aesthetically beautiful on my book shelf, but they are genuine, funny, butterfly-inducing, well-written stories. Currently, my favorite is Funny Story (her most recent book), but I don’t think there is a wrong answer. And even better, the audiobooks are next level.

Favorite place to travel:
Gananoque, Ontario, Canada – my family would spend a month every summer, while growing up, on the St. Lawrence River, the same cabin my mom grew up visiting. It would be a month of swimming, exploring, board games, and just being a kid. It is still my favorite place even without going every summer.

Childhood dream job:
I always wanted to own/manage a boutique hotel where each room was a separate cabin, with a bright colored door and matching Adirondack chairs out front. They would share an open green space, overlooking the most beautiful waterscape. I had all the details planned, down to the cabin keys.

What brings you joy?
I find joy in the smiles and laughter my daughter gives me. I find joy when my dog throws his body on top of me on the couch, burrowing his head into my lap or the pillows, just to get a good belly rub or head scratch. I find joy in watching my husband throw answers around while we are watching game shows, pretending he is the contestant, and his face lighting up when he gets the answer correct. I find joy in that first sip of crisp diet coke or the first chip dipped in a creamy queso.
